Betty introduced me to ‘Chicken Divine’ in Stuyvesant Town NYC in the 1970’s yesterday I saw a recipe on the internet for chicken Divine & asked my sister Kathleen if she would make it for dinner & reminded
her it was Betty who first made it for me when she lived in Manhattan $ worked @ Lehman Brothers. Betty was a very good friend & she eventually moved into Peter Cooper Village in NYC until she retired. I lost touch with her and wish I hadn’t. So sorry to have found out about her passing 6 years ago. I am living in Palm Desert California with sister Kathleen.
Blessings of Aloha Pehgee Morris

I met Betty when my family moved to Malverne, Long Island. Although we lived in the same town we attended different high schools. She was a senior and I was a sophomore. We had the same friends. After she graduated from high school she attended Katherine’s Gibbs School of Business, and worked and lived in NYC until she retired.
She was a wonderful friend. Kind, caring and inspiring. She loved traveling, cooking and animals. I just learned of her passing as my sister asked about her today. So I searched for her on line and learned that she left us. I’m grateful to have known her and regret not keeping her close as we were both on our own path. From what has been said here she was happy and made a difference in her community of choice after she retired. She also made a difference in my life and the lives of all who knew her. Will see you on the other side Betty.
Love,
Kathleen Morris
