To John's Family....
My life in Lewiston was made better for having known John and being able to pick his brain so many years ago when we oopened the Village Pump. John's advice was invaluable as he encouraged competition. My life continued to involve John and Apple Grannies since leaving Lewiston in 1985. Every trip back meant a Friday night for chicken wings and a glass of Jean Yaseen's wine John kept behind the bar. Know John is in a better place with many friends and famioy having welcomed him in heaven. Also know he will be deeply missed by friends still here. I for one will never forget John and all he did for Lewiston and his friends all his life.

I met John at Apple Granny the first month he opened in 1975 and visited the restaurant many times since. John will be missed by many of his Canadian customers including me.

To the Family of John Roberts,
He has touched so many lives in a very positive way. I am so thankful to have known him as a boss and a friend. It didn't matter if you worked for him for 20 years or 20 minutes he knew how to make you feel welcomed like part of his family. My Deepest Sympathy goes out to all of you.
