Obituary of Lottie Jean Clark

Lottie Jean Clark, age 85 of Lewiston, died Thursday October 22, 2009 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, after a brief illness.
Lottie was born August 9, 1924 in Stanislaw, Poland, the daughter of the late John F. and Mary (Okonski) Krzeczkowski. Her family moved to Sault St. Marie, Ontario, Canada in 1929. In 1944 they moved to Tennessee where she married Wilson G. Clark on February 10, 1944. Wilson and Lottie moved to the Town of Porter in 1949. She has lived the past five years in Lewiston with her son, John G. Clark, who has provided such loving care. Lottie was a Waitress at LaSalle Sportsman's Club in Niagara Falls for 15 years, retiring in 1975. Previous to that she worked at the Youngstown Yacht Club, the Niagara Frontier Country Club, and at the cafeteria at Lewiston Porter Central School. Lottie enjoyed Bingo, trips, and outings with the Senior Citizen Group. She took great pleasure in handcrafts and crocheting Afghans for her family, friends, and nursing homes. Lottie dearly loved her family and delighted in spending time with them.
She is survived by her husband, Wilson; her children, Mary (Carl) Doty and Sharon Clark, both of Youngstown, Teddy (Rhonda) Clark of Winston-Salem, NC, Janet Sarazin, John G. Clark, and Maureen Hill all of Lewiston, and Kelly Clark of Niagara Falls; her grandchildren, Kim (Doug) Schaefer, Christine (Christopher) Cramer, Suzanne Raby, Janelle Doty, Teri Ingraham, Thomas John Sweatman, Caitlyn Clark, Ashley Sarazin, Nikole and Marysa Wynn, Alexandra Clark, Jordan White, and Markeesha Clark; her great grandchildren, Ryan, Cameron, and Alisa Schaefer, Alexis, Sean and Brayden Cramer, Elizabeth and Michaila Raby, Chole and Theo Noah, Shane Clark and Izabela Wynn; a brother, Ted (Dorothy) Krzeczkowski of St. Catharine's, Ontario; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Betty Jean Clark.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, October 26, at 11:00 AM in HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston, with the Rev. Paul Keeling officiating. There will be no prior visitation. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094.
