Obituary of Eunice D. Luskin

Eunice D. Luskin passed away peacefully on May 7, 2011 at the Niagara Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Niagara Falls. She was born September 28, 1926 in London, England the only child of William and Mable (Wilmer) Tucker. She was educated and graduated from Spring Grove Secondary School, Hounslow, England. On June 29, 1946 she married Robert W. Luskin, U.S. Navy, and immigrated to the United States later that year. She made many trips back home to England over the years besides her 25th anniversary trip with her husband in 1971. She was employed for many years at Sears and Roebucks. She was a former member of the Dickersonville United Methodist Church and a member of the British Overseas Wives Club for over 60 years. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, listening to music, but most of all being with family. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert W. Luskin in 1997. She is survived by her daughters, Brenda L. (Danny) Bodenstein and Robin A. (Paul) Patry of Niagara Falls; sons Robert G. (Sharon) Luskin of Lockport and Graham E. Luskin of Lewiston; loving and proud grandmother of Jennifer, Sarah, Amy, Marc, Jeffrey, Kimberly, Rebecca, and Christopher; and 12 great-grandchildren; sisters-in law Mary June (Albert) Lavender, Lillian Luskin, Christine Luskin; several nieces and nephews; dear cousin Donald (Rita) Dawson of England and life-long friend Gwen Sell of England; and her dear friends from the British Overseas Wives Club. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 11, at 11:00 AM in funeral home, with the Rev. W. James Hardy officiating. Burial will follow in the Dickersonville Cemetery, Lewiston.
