Brad jokingly introduced himself to my daughters as one of the family. He certainly helped comfort so many members of the Figura and Henschel families in their time of loss and grief, as he did for so many other families.
He was a kind and compassionate person and will be missed. Sincere condolences to his friends and family.

24 years ago Brad took care of the funeral of my husband, Watson. Brad was so helpful and compassionate. You felt he was your friend. Again we needed his help when our son passed away in March. Brad took away the stress and worry as we planed Craig’s Celebration of Life and burial. Again Brad was compassionate. He understood our grief and took care of everything. Brad will be missed by many families he helped during their grief. Job well done.
In gratitude, Gail McCalister

I have known Brad since working at Porter Country Mart in 2008. He would come in and buy 2 packs of Merit Lights and he was one of my favorite customers. Among many funerals I have attended there ,in the last year I have lost my brother , my father in law and my mother just in August. Brad made those difficult times easier somehow. He was so warm and comforting. Always welcomed me with a big smile and an even bigger hug. I will miss him dearly. Hugs to his family.

Sincere condolences to the Hardison family on the loss of such a good man. Our father passed over the summer and Brad made a difficult time and process less so with his gentle command, kindness, and patience. Brad was Dad's choice to manage the funeral of our mother 38 years ago - I can clearly see why. May he rest peacefully in paradise.

I am so sorry to hear of Brad's passing.
Just last month he oversaw the arrangements and care of my Mom, Patricia A. Rhoney. Brad was kind, caring, compassionate, respectful and as always, the ultimate professional.
When our funeral family business was sold, my Dad, who had built the business for decades said, "I'm going to talk to Brad, I know him and I knew his Father." I met with Brad several times over the years and watched as he treated my Dad, Paul Rhoney, with incredible respect.
When my Dad passed, our family was overwhelmed by the care and compassion Brad showed in preparing every detail of his service. It's not easy, managing the funeral of another funeral director, but Brad did it was grace and a caring smile. It didn't matter than we no longer were part of a family business, Brad treated my parents, Paul and Pat Rhoney, as if they were his family.
I will miss Brad's kindness, his quick sense of humor and warm smile. I felt fortunate to be his friend. I wish him peace.
Colette Rhoney

Oh, Paige and Family.........
This is so hard to believe, and so soon after losing Jan and your mom.
When Jan and I would hang out at your house, back in high school, I remember Brad as the cute younger brother, wandering in and out of the house, always with a pleasant word and a smile on his face. At WCS, we enjoyed noticing the sweet romance between him and Mary; it seemed to start in tenth grade. And they were such a good match: equally kind-hearted, all-around "great kids."
I remember Jan's worries about Mary; and she would tell me about Brad's un-ending, devotion to her. And I remember his warm compassion whenever I needed to return to Ransomville for a funeral.
He was such a credit to his family, his community, and his profession. A major loss for Ransomville. Can any of us remember a time when a Hardison was unavailable during our own losses?
This is very hard to consider.

Brad was a beloved Classmate of the WCS Class of 1973. Brad was also a wonderful friend to my parents, Clara and Roy Swazey, as I am sure he was to many others. During the many years I have lived away from Wilson and Ransomville, Brad was one of the first I would call to set up time for a breakfast, lunch or coffee get together. During our high school years, Brad, Mary and I, and many other members of the Class of 73 would be together enjoying our youthful years. You will be missed, remembered and thought of often Brad, as you were such a loyal friend, and all around "Good Man" to your family, friends and the many you served in the surrounding communities!
