Obituary of Wendy J. Olver

Wendy J. Olver, loving daughter, sister, and aunt, went to be with her heavenly father on Tuesday November 16, 2010 after being suddenly stricken at her home in Highwood, Illinois. Wendy was born December 20, 1953 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of Betty (Westcott) Olver of Lewiston and the late Charles Olver. She was a 1972 graduate of Lewiston Porter High School and a graduate of Miami University of Ohio with a BA in Graphic Design. Wendy was employed by Moore Business Forms both in Niagara Falls and Chicago for six years, moving to the Chicago area in 1978. For the last six years she was Director of Volunteerism & Connections at the Willowcreek Community Church in Northfield, Illinois as well as Director of Volunteers for Hospice in the Chicago area. In addition to her mother she is survived by three brothers, Charles (Evie) Olver and Gary Olver both of Metairie, LA, and Bruce (Marge) Olver of Oceanside, CA; two sisters, Nancy (Duffy) Ramage of Boca Raton, FL and Louise (Gary) Wasko of Lewiston; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday. July 16, ay 11:00 am in the First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston, 505 Cayuga St., Lewiston. Memorial contributions may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 or to the First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston, 505 Cayuga St., Lewiston, NY 14092.
