Obituary of Nancy J. Trank

Nancy J. Trank, 79 of Wilson, NY formerly of Ransomville wife of Larry Trank entered into rest on Thursday January 17, 2019 at the Niagara Hospice House, Lockport, NY.

Born in Olean, NY on February 03, 1939 she was the daughter of the late George and the late Jane Ackley Herrmann. She graduated from Eldred Boro High school class of 1957 then went on to graduate Canisius Nursing School. Nancy married Larry Trank on June 30, 1961. She was employed at Dr. Singh’s medical office, Kenmore Mercy and Sister’s Hospitals as registered nurse. Nancy enjoyed sewing, painting, Volunteering at the Florida Blood Services, singing in the choir, spending time with her family and grandchildren and also being a very good friend to everyone!. She was member of the Ransomville United Methodist Church and also the co-director of the choir at the Gateway Mobile Home Park in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Surviving is her husband Larry Trank; two sons, Michael (Teresa) Trank and David (Elyse) Trank and a daughter Beth (Rick) Sutherland. Also surviving is her sister Doris "Dory" Alger; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Family and friends may call TUESDAY from 3-7 PM at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, NY 14131. Funeral services will be held WEDNESDAY (Jan 23) at 10:00 am in the funeral home with Rev. Matthew Worley officiating. Interment will be in North Ridge Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be sent to Ransomville United Methodist Church, 2573 Youngstown Lockport Rd., Ransomville, NY 14131.
