Obituary of Charles A. Wilkinson

Charles A. Wilkinson, 88 of Niagara Falls formerly of Youngstown husband of the late Inez Anderson Wilkinson died Tuesday January 01, 2019 at home under the care of Niagara Hospice.

Born in Niagara Falls, NY on June 02, 1930, he was the son of the late Victor and the late Doris Cox Wilkinson. Charles served in the U.S Army during the Korean war from 1951 to 1953. On July 11, 1953 he married the late Inez Anderson. Charles Retired as a pressman from Moore Business Forms after 24 years and later worked as a civilian equipment operator at the Niagara Falls Joint Air Reserve Station. He was a Lifetime member of VFW Post 313 Lake Ontario Post in Youngstown and the American Legion #1.

 

 

Surviving is his son Ricky (Judy) Wilkinson of Niagara Falls, NY; his grandchildren Richie (Jen) Wilkinson and Jodi (Branden) O’ Brien and his great grandchildren Nikolas, Bianca, Tristan and Raffaele.

NO PRIOR VISITATION OR SERVICES WILL BE HELD. Burial will take place in Oakland Rural Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Niagara Falls Firefighters Christmas Toy Fund P.O Box 271 Niagara Falls, NY 14304 or Wheatfield American Legion Post 1451 Toy Fund Drive 6525 Ward Rd. Sanborn, NY 14132. Arrangements entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC. Ransomville, NY.
