Obituary of Paul R. Nawotka

Paul R. Nawotka, 72, of Ransomville, NY passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

Paul was born in Cheektowaga, NY to Eugene J. Nawotka and Alfreda (Lipka) Nawotka on October 7, 1945. He attended Buffalo Public Schools until moving to the Town of Pendelton. Paul then attended Starpoint Central School from his sophomore year and graduating in 1963. He joined the Army after graduation and following boot camp went to Redstone Arsenal for training on the Hawk Guided Missile. After this training he was stationed in Schweinfurt, Germany for almost two years. Over the course of 50 years Paul has worked as an electrician at various companies and retired from Newmark, Grubb, Knight, Frank located at Praxair.

Paul is survived by his wife, Marcia (Haugh), of 49 years, son Paul Jr. (Lisa) and daughter Kimberli Dodd. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Chloe Dodd, Austin Cox, Natalie Cox, Austin Nawotka, Brookelyn Nawotka and Cayla Seever. Paul is also survived by his faithful companion Koda. He is preceded in death by his father, Eugene J. Nawotka; mother, Alfreda Saja; sister, Mary Ann Wiljala and brother, Eugene L. Nawotka

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the nurses and doctors at Roswell Park Cancer Institute for all the care given during Paul’s stay in their facility.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 6, at 12:oo Noon in the Niagara Frontier Bible Church, 5287 Bronson Drive, Lewiston, NY. Memorial donations may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute, PO Box 631, Buffalo, NY 14263.
