Obituary of Lana J. Osborne

Lana J. Osborne, 71 of Liverpool, NY. Formerly of the Tuscarora Nation, died June 30, 2018 after a lengthy illness. Born in Niagara Fall, NY on January 2, 1947 to the late Rev. Martin E. and Helen A. (Green) Johnson Jr. Lana was a graduate of Niagara-Wheatfield High School and received her Nursing degree from N.C.C.C. Before leaving the area and moving to Ulster County, she was active in both Tuscarora Baptist Church and the Tuscarora Mission as well as being once the “Maid Of The Mist” mostly she enjoyed spending time with her family. Lana is survived by her 5 children; Lowell Osborne (Carolyn Novotney); Lance Osborne (Michelle Luteran); Lashonda Osborne (Jaime Rodriguez); Liaudrianni (Paul) Bobe and Jordan (Ana) Homer; Grandchildren; Samantha; Christina; Christian; Logan; Lucas; Liberty; Lenox; Juliana; Desire; Jaime Jr.; Mason; Paul; Elton; Eulalie and the late Ashley. A brother, Martin Johnson III (Glenda Brokenshoulder); a sister Daphne Johnson and a nephew Roderick.

Friends and family will be present on THURSDAY July 5th at the Tuscarora Mission, 5036 Walmore Rd. from 11 AM to 1 PM with services beginning at 2PM with Rev. Walter Printup Jr. officiating, burial to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
