Obituary of Ronald E. Pyle

Ronald E. Pyle, 76 of Swainsboro, Georgia (formerly of Riverview Florida and Youngstown, NY) died surrounded by his loving family on April, 21, 2018.

Ron was born July 30, 1941 in Franklin, Pennsylvania son of the late John J. and Marjorie Mae (Patterson) Pyle. He was employed for several years at Occidental Chemical in Niagara Falls and later opened a small business with his wife after moving to Riverview. He recently retired and moved to Swainsboro.

Ron is survived by his wife Karen (Rood) Pyle whom he married December 22, 1980, combining their families into one. In addition to his wife he is survived by their children; sons, Todd (Barbara) Smith, Chad (Dawn) Smith and daughter Cynthia (Tom) Valdez; their grandchildren, Cameron, Angela, Alex, Taylor, Ashley, Courtney, Caroline, and Chloe. He is also survived by his brother John (Margret) Pyle and sisters Erma (James) Foley and Sandra Pyle Moyer and many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two sisters Phyllis "Pat" Cevaer and Marjorie Mae Pyle and brother Harry F. Pyle

Ron loved life and was always ready to share accounts of his many adventures. He had a never-ending sense of humor. The mention of his name would bring a smile to your face. Throughout his life he enjoyed bowling, boating, golfing, frequenting good restaurants, grilling, Casino gambling, traveling and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Ron was an avid NASCAR and Kyle Bush fan. He was an active member of the Swainsboro First United Methodist Church. He also loved visiting his family in Florida and New York.

Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth and Ridge Street, Lewiston, NY on Friday April 27th from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 28th, 2018 at 11 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery, Pekin. Donations in Ron's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 101 John James Audubon Pkwy., Amherst, NY 14228.
