Edward K. Kadziolka, age 85 of Wilson, died Tuesday February 6, 2018 in the Buffalo Veterans Administration Medical Center.

Edward was born June 11, 1932 in Buffalo, NY, the son of the late John and Lillian (Getrik) Kadziolka. He was a Veteran of the Korean War, serving from December of 1952 to his honorable discharge with the rank of SGT (T) in December of 1954. In 1955 he married Joan E. (Scholl) Kadziolka and they lived in Buffalo before moving to Wilson in 1990. Joan predeceased him on July 3, 2017.

Edward was a Brakeman, employed by the Conrail Railroad in Buffalo for 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

He is survived by two sisters in law, Dorothy (Ben) Higgins and Norma Gumhalter; two brothers in law, Howard (Audrey) Scholl and Thomas (Marti) Scholl; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers, four sisters, and a brother in law, Ronald (Astrid) Scholl.

Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Monday, February 12, from 4 - 7:30 PM. A Prayer service followed by Military Honors will begin at 7:30 PM in the funeral home.
