Cecile (Labonte) Bryan of Youngstown, NY passed away at home surrounded by her children on December 22, 2017, after a battle with lung cancer.

Cecile was born in Ottawa, Ontario to Leo and Valeda Labonte. She was the youngest of six children and moved to the states after getting married to Kenneth Bryan in 1965. Ken and Cecile were married for 51 years and have three children and four grandchildren. Cecile is predeceased by her husband Ken, and is survived by her sister Laurette (Leo) Quarterman, brother, Rene Labonte, her son, Ken (Kathryn), and daughters Nathalie (Charles) Greene, and Julie Bryan. Cecile loved and took great pleasure in her grandchildren; Benjamin and Jack (Ken and Kathryn), and Megan and Charlie (Nathalie and Charles). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Cecile had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed traveling to Europe before she was married. In the early years of their marriage Ken and Cecile lived in Germany and visited many countries. Cecile stayed home to raise her children and was involved in many volunteer activities over the years at Stella Niagara, Fort Niagara, Youngstown Garden Club, and St Vincent's de Paul. She worked at Fatima Shrine for many years.

The funeral service will be held at St. Bernard's RC Church in Youngstown, NY, on Saturday, March 10, at 12:00 Noon. There will be no prior visitation. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Niagara Hospice House, 4675 Sunset Road, Lockport, NY 14094.
