Obituary of Richard P. Tower
Richard P. Tower, age 77 of Ransomville, died Wednesday September 20, 2017 in Niagara Hospice House in Lockport.
He was born August 12, 1940 in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of the late Richard and Margaret (Truesdale) Tower. Richard was a 1958 graduate of Lewiston-Porter High School and received an Associate’s Degree from Erie County Technical College. He had worked as an Estimator for Apollo Steel in Niagara Falls.
Richard enjoyed traveling with family and loved to do word search puzzles. He was especially proud of the Tower Family Farm and being the oldest of the twelve generations of Tower’s.
He is survived by his children, Amy (Daryl) Luchak, Richard James (Rebecca) Tower, and Patrick (Danyelle) Tower; a brother, Tom (Kate) Tower; a sister, Jan (Doug) Howard; 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Joan Gatrost and his former wife, Eleanor (Sharples) Tower.
