Richard R. Bickford, age 61 of Sanborn NY, died Tuesday August 15, 2017 at his residence after a long illness.
Richard was born March 1, 1956 in Lockport, NY, the son of the late Richard and Marcia (Hillman) Bickford. He was a 1974 graduate of Wilson High School. Richard was a self employed Carpenter specializing in home remodeling. He was a talented musician and was a guitarist with the local band "Sun Finks" for many years.
He is survived by a son, Travis Bickford of Buffalo and a daughter, Alaina Bickford.
A Celebration of his Life will be held on a date and at a time to be announced. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 101 John James Audubon Pkwy., Amherst, NY 14228.
