Please accept my belated condolences. I moved to Barker in 11/15 & only get the obits from the eastern part of Niagara county. [darn Gazette!] So sorry for your loss. We went our separate ways in high school and ran into him once more as he was mowing grass along the road. [for the town?] I remember the times we had together growing up and going to school in Pekin & Sanborn. The four of us also
included Mike & Dan. We were pretty inseparable at that time as we explored the
world around us. [mostly Pekin & Bond's Lake. Camping out & swimming in ponds
were pretty popular for us. When I read his obit that he joined the Navy and was an amateur historian was no suprise. I remember him telling me that his father was in the navy and I remember all the little soldiers and model toys that he had. He loved going to a Lewiston Pharmacy [can't remember the name any more. I don't know how to end this, so John, thanks for the fun & memories.
