My initial relationship with Bob came when I became the Pastor of Niagara, Presbyterian Church in December 1979. Bob was the 1st of the area Pastors to come & visit me. I invited him to participate in my Installation Service, which he did. We began meeting regularly for breakfast or lunch & prayer. I was grateful for his counsel & advice in my early years as a Pastor. My final communication came several months ago. He replied to a letter I sent. Even though he was very ill, his words were still positive & uplifting. I was, & am, honored to have had Bob in my life. My prayers will be for comfort for his family, & that our Lord will bring to mind many wonderful memories to them in the days to come. Thank you Jesus that we are not sad as are those who have no hope. (1 Thessalonians 4:13)
Blessings,
The Rev. Dr. Rande Wayne Smith

Dear beautiful Lena and family - my deepest condolences on the loss of such a special, wonderful man. His smile lit up a room and he always had a kind word to say about everyone. I will miss him and hearing his beautiful voice singing at church. He is pain free and at peace in the loving care of our Lord. God bless all of you as you work through the grieving process. I will continue to keep you in my prayers. Xoxo Terri (and Andrew).
