Obituary of Elizabeth Dobson Eydt

Elizabeth Dobson Eydt, age 95 formerly of Lewiston, died Wednesday March 29, 2017 in McArthur Manor in Manchester, TN.
Mrs. Eydt was born December 18, 1921 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late James and Janet (Gibson) McKimmie. She was a 1938 graduate of Niagara Falls High School and in August of 1940 she married Victor C. Eydt, moving to Lewiston in 1950. Elizabeth worked in Lewiston-Porter High School Cafeteria for 15 years before retiring in 1981 and moving with Victor to Springhill, FL where she lived for 20 years. Victor predeceased her in 1991 and she later moved to Davie, FL before moving to Manchester, TN in 2008 to be near her family.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald (Cammie) Eydt of Madisonville, TN, Daniel (Ellen) Eydt of Manchester, TN, and Victor E. (late Marnie) Eydt of Lewiston; her grandchildren, Jody Eydt of Madisonville, TN, Victor J. Eydt of Niagara Falls, NY, and Kyle (April) Eydt of Lewiston. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Niagara Falls. She was predeceased by a sister, Jean McKimmie.
Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Monday from 4 - 7 pm. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 11, at 10:00 AM in Riverdale Cemetery, 5605 Lewiston Rd., Lewiston. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094.
