Obituary of Michelle G. Loughran

Michelle G. Loughran, age 59, formerly of Lewiston, died Tuesday October 25, 2016 at her residence in Middleport, NY surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Niagara Hospice. Michelle was born October 1, 1957 in Syracuse, NY, the daughter of Carl and Grace (Popp) Guy. In 1980 she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Biology from Niagara University. Michelle married Kevin F. Loughran on September 20, 1980 and they resided in Lewiston until moving to Middleport in 2009. Michelle was a naturalist who enjoyed quilting, bird watching, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Kevin; her parents, Carl and Grace Guy of Syracuse, NY; her children, Jonathan (Aimee) Loughran of Lewiston and Colleen (Nathaniel) Thomas of Columbus, OH; her grandchildren, Isabella and Emma Loughran, and Jasper Thomas; her siblings, Kathy Simcox, Teri Cameron, Carl (Debbie), Rick (Alycia), Patrick (Shannon), and Michael (Allison) Guy, and Ginnie O'Brien; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Friday from 4 - 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 29, at 11:00 AM in St. Peter's RC Church, 600 Center St., Lewiston, with the Rev. Msgr. David G. LiPuma officiating.
