Anthony "Tony" J. Moon, age 57 of Niagara Falls NY, died unexpectedly on Saturday April 16, 2016 at his residence.
Tony was born February 17, 1959 in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of the late Robert and Phyllis (Zasucha) Moon. He was a 1977 graduate of Lewiston-Porter High School. Tony was a Chemical Operator, employed by Union Carbide Niagara Falls, for 20 years before retiring in the early 2000's. He enjoyed sports, golfing, softball, and hunting.
He is survived by three brothers, Michael, Joseph, and R. Christopher (Laura) Moon; three sisters, Mary (James) Wood, Lisa Moon, and Andrea Brown; several nieces and nephews, two aunts, and one uncle. He was predeceased by a sister, Nancy Moon.
A Memorial service will be held in HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Saturday, April 23, at 1:00 PM. There will be no prior visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., WNY Chapter, 315 Alberta Dr., Amherst, NY 14226.
