Obituary of Robert P. Hill

Robert P. Hill, age 73, of Youngstown died Monday, January 29th, 2024, at OLP in Lewiston, NY. Robert was born May 16th, 1950, in Bennington, VT. He is the son of the late Peter G. and the late Blanche P. (Hurley) Hill. Bob graduated from Lew-Port class of 1968 going on to attend NCCC receiving an associates degree. Bob served in the United States Air Force from 1969 till his discharge in 1973. He married Pamela Monroe on September 5th, 1970. Bob was employed by the NYS Power Authority in Lewiston, NY as an electronics technician retiring in 2011 after 30 years. He loved to Canoe and Kayak, he enjoyed the outdoors also spending time camping and vacationing with his family and grandchildren. Bob was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Youngstown. Surviving is his wife, Pamela ( nee Monroe) Hill; their sons, Douglas R. (Heidi) Hill, Joshua P. (Tammi) Hill and Nicholas P.(Erin) Hill; his siblings, Darlene (Jim) Wilson, Vivian (John) DiCarlo, Joy (Robert) Monroe and John (June) Hill, also 8 grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 2nd from 11:00 AM. to 1:00 PM. at the Hardison Funeral Homes INC., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, NY 14108. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm immediately following visitation. Burial will be in Oakland Rural Cemetery.
