Obituary of Christine R. Luskin

Christine R. Luskin, age 95 of Lewiston NY, died Saturday July 8, 2017 in the Northgate Health Care Facility in Wheatfield after a long illness.

Christine was born December 25, 1921 in the Town of Lewiston, the daughter of the late Clarence and Lillie (Kneepple) Landers. She married Richard E. Luskin on August 4, 1951. He predeceased her in 1990. Christine was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Messiah in Lewiston. She enjoyed baking, reading, and playing her guitar. Most of all she enjoyed being with her family.

She is survived by her loving children, Iris (late Vernon) French, Aaron (Roseann) Golding, Todd (late Frances) Golding, and Kellie (late James H.) Olivero; 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and a great great granddaughter; and a sister, Lillian (the late Arthur) Luskin.

She was predeceased by a brother, Donald Landers, and three sisters, Ruth Edwards,Garnett Crafts, and Marjorie Slone.

Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Wednesday, July 12, from 5 - 7 PM. Funeral Services will be private. Christine will be laid to rest in North Ridge Cemetery, Town of Cambria. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc.
