Obituary of Penny K. DeLong

Penny K. DeLong (nee Rafferty), 72 of Niagara Falls, entered into rest on Thursday April 11th, 2024, at home. Born on September 16th, 1951, in Youngstown, NY to the late Paul and Marjorie Bartlebaugh Rafferty. Penny was a graduate of Lew-Port CSD. She last worked at the Seneca Niagara Casino at the Valet Supervisor, she enjoyed bingo, bowling with her family, basket raffles, baking her famous cheesecakes and cream puffs and spending time with her family. Surviving are her children, Donald DeLong (Jolean Jones), Robin (Luis) Carmona; her siblings, Mary (late Wayne) Thompson, Diane (late George) Tolley and Timothy (Susan) Rafferty; her grandchildren, Mercedes Palmeri, Callan DeLong-Carmona, Xavier Carmona, and Oliva Carmona, also 1 great grandchild Sage Holt and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by several siblings, James Rafferty, Daniel Rafferty, Linda Egert and Terrie Thompson. Visitation will be held at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC. 3648 Ransomville Rd. Ransomville, NY on TUESDAY from 3-6 PM. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers please make a memorial donation to the Niagara County SPCA or a charity of your choosing.
