Obituary of Paul E. Harvey

Paul E. Harvey, age 87 of Newfane died Sunday February 12, 2017 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, after a brief illness. Paul was born January 16, 1930 in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of the late William and Harriet (Davidson) Harvey. He enlisted in the U.S. Army National Guard in June of 1948 and was honorably discharged with the rank of Corporal in June of 1952. Paul was an Instrument Repairman, employed by E.I. DuPont Co., in Niagara Falls, NY for 33 years, retiring in 1985. He enjoyed farming his land in Lockport, planting trees, gardening, and riding his tractor. He also enjoyed traveling. Paul was married to Shirley Ann (Connor) Harvey from 1949 to her passing in 1997. On August 26, 2006 he married Wreatha (Siebert) Harvey. In addition to Wreatha, he is survived by his children, Edward (Jan), Kevin (Kimberly), and Timothy (Nancy) Harvey, Kelly (Randy) Garrow, Erik Schultz, and Wreatha K. Oliver; two brothers, Charles and Darrell (Dinia) Harvey; 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Thursday, February 23, from 3 - 7 pm. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 24, at 10:00 am in the funeral home, Rev. Jozef Dudzik officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston.
