Obituary of Sally A. Raisig

Sally A. Raisig, age 79 of Ransomville, died Friday November 11, 2016 in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston after a lengthy illness. Sally was born January 2, 1937 in Youngstown, NY, the daughter of the late Stanley and Genevieve (Jakubowski) Kasprzak. She was a 1955 graduate of Niagara Falls High School and went to work for E.I. DuPont Co. after graduation, until 1957. Sally married Frank F. Raisig on May 4, 1957 and they moved to Ransomville in 1974. She returned to work in 1975 and clerked at the Towne Pharmacy in Niagara Falls until 1981 when she left there and began working at K-Mart in Niagara Falls. Sally worked at K-Mart until 1998. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception RC Church in Ransomville. Sally enjoyed knitting, crafts, going to the casino, traveling, and was an avid reader. In addition to her husband, Frank, she is survived by her children, Bruce Raisig of Niagara Falls, NY, Tracey (Edward) Depasquale of Ft. White, FL, and Wendy Raisig of Chesterland, OH. She was predeceased by a son, Robert P. Raisig in 1992, a brother, Edwin Kasprzak and a sister, Carol Watson. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 16, 9:30 AM in the Immaculate Conception RC Church, 4671 Townline Rd. (Rte. 429) Ransomville, with the Rev. James Bastian officiating. (Please assemble at Church). Burial will follow in Dickersonville Cemetery, Lewiston. Flowers are gratefully declined.
