Jennifer E. Spring, age 23 of Newfane, died Wednesday November 2, 2016 at her home under the loving care of her family and Niagara Hospice. Jennifer was born July 30, 1993 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of Joel M. Spring of Ransomville and Greta (Wehner) Spring of Newfane. She was a graduate of Newfane High School and had received Bachelor Degrees in Psychology and Epidemiology from the University of Buffalo. Jennifer was passionate about animal rescue and was very involved with "Heart of Niagara" and "Diamonds in the Ruff" both in Lockport. She was employed as a Veterinarian Assistant by the Village Veterinary Clinic in Lewiston. She is survived by her mother, Greta M. (Wehner) Spring of Newfane; her father and step mother, Joel M. (Joy Burmaster) Spring of Ransomville; her sister, Jessica (Charles "C.J.") Taylor of Tonawanda; her grandparents, Marvin and Jayne Spring of Ransomville, and Barbara Wehner of Lancaster, NY; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Friday from 4 - 7 pm. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 5, at 2:00 PM in the Ransomville United Methodist Church, 2573 Youngstown-Lockport Rd., Ransomville, with the Rev. Matthew Worley officiating. Burial will follow in North Ridge Cemetery, Church Rd., Town of Cambria. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute Brain Research, PO Box 631, Buffalo, NY 14240, Diamonds in the Ruff, PO Box 332, Lockport, NY 14094 or to Heart of Niagara, 3652 Ewings Rd., Lockport, NY 14094.
