Obituary of Leonard R. Cassick

Leonard R. Cassick, age 60 of Lewiston, died Thursday April 8, 2010 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, after a brief illness. Leonard was born September 11, 1949 in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of the late Leonard W. and Zada (Fry) Cassick. He was a Laborer for various companies for a number of years. On December 26, 1976 he married Patricia (Palmatier) Cassick. Leonard was a member of Lewiston Volunteer Fire Co. # 1 as well as the Fire Police, and a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #584 in Lewiston. In addition to his wife, Patricia, he is survived by his children, Clinton R. Cassick and Christina (Jon) Misener both of Lewiston, and Jimmy (Maggie) Spencer of Spring Hill, FL; his grandchildren, Mercedes Pendola, Aimee Misener, and J.J. Spencer; a brother, John Cassick of Ransomville; three sisters, Elizabeth Jammes of Alaska, Harriette Cassick of Newfane, and Annette Cassick Kreamer of Niagara Falls, NY; two sisters in law, Ellen Palmatier and Edith Cassick both of Niagara Falls, NY;and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Jacob W. Cassick. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Saturday from 5 to 8 pm and Sunday from 5 to 8 pm. Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 12, at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the North Ridge Cemetery, Church Rd., Town of Cambria.
