Obituary of Beverly E. Wiepert

Beverly E. "Boots" Wiepert, age 85 of Ransomville, died Friday June 17, 2016 at her granddaughter's home in Arcade, NY.
Boots was born October 4, 1930 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Harry and Florence (Martin) Sawyer. She was a graduate of the Youngstown Red Brick School and on June 4, 1949 she married Gerald C. Wiepert. Gerald predeceased her in 2006.
Boots worked many years as an Office Manager for Dr. Largo of Dr. Associates in Niagara Falls, retiring in 2013. Previous to that she worked for Dr. Piazza at the Ransomville General Hospital.
Boots was a longtime member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church at North Ridge.
She is survived by her children, Gerald R. (Joyce) Wiepert, Nancy (John) Laughlan, Roger Wiepert all of Ransomville, and Michael "Mickey" Wiepert of Lockport; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; a sister, Marjorie (Gerald) Burnett; a brother, Wallace Sawyer; and a sister in law, Laura Sawyer. She was predeceased by two brothers, Francis (May) and Robert Sawyer; and two sisters, Berlymarie (Elton) Zastrow and Winona (George) Reid.
Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, June 22, at 11:00 AM in North Ridge Cemetery, Church Rd., Town of Cambria, with the Rev. Robert Hoffman officiating. There will be no prior visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ransomville Vol. Fire Co. Ambulance Fund, PO Box 239, Ransomville, NY 14131. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Rd. Ransomville, NY.
