Obituary of Anna M. Dietrick

Anna M. (Stamborski) Dietrick, age 81 of Lewiston, died unexpectedly on Tuesday June 14, 2016 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston. Anna was born August 10, 1934 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Frank and Fillomene (Thomas) Stamborski, Sr. and was a 1952 graduate of LaSalle High School. From 1970 to 1984 Anna was the Proprietor of Compositeur Printing in Lewiston. She then was employed as a Fontologist/Trainer by Moore Business Forms in Grand Island, from which she retired in 1996 after 12 years of service. Anna was treasured by and will be sorely missed by her many dancing friends. She had traveled internationally and from coast to coast line dancing and clogging with the "Coronation Cloggers" and various other groups. Anna enjoyed international travel and cruises. She loved wildlife, animals, and her "cats". Anna especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was predeceased by two husbands, Lawrence Stacey and Fred Dietrick; and a loving companion of 25 years, Charles Easterly. Anna is survived by her children, Laura Ann Stacey (Tony) Rakoczy of Canandaigua, NY, Lawrence John Stacey of Lewiston, and Susan Marie Stacey Carpenter of Atlanta, GA; her grandchildren, Aaron and Marc Rakoczy, and Casey Pollock; her great grandchildren, Gabriel and Kendall Pollock; and a brother, Frank Anthony (Donna) Stamborski of Niagara Falls, NY. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 18, at 10:00 AM in St. Peter's RC Church, 600 Center St., Lewiston, with the Rev. Msgr. David G. LiPuma officiating.
