Lorna Bussingham, age 83 of Sanborn, died Thursday May 19, 2016 in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston.
Lorna was born January 11, 1933 in Toronto, Ontario, the daughter of the late John and Annie (Riley) Brown. She married Fred Bussingham on October 31, 1953 and they lived in Ransomville for many years before moving to Sanborn 13 years ago. Lorna was a member of the Colonial Village Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, garage sales and her pet dogs.
In addition to her husband Fred, she is survived by her children, Barbara Ann DeFilippo of Lockport, Nancy (William) Maines of North Tonawanda, Robert (Cindy) Bussingham and Susan (Sanford) Pembleton both of Lewiston; her grandchildren, Alicia DeFilippo (Bryon) and Ashley DeFilippo, Ryann (Ken) Brown, Marie and Shayna Pembleton (Wayne), Robert and Eric Bussingham; her great grandchildren, Hope, Haylie, Little Wayne, Tyler, and Blake; a sister, Ina Underwood of Midland, Ontario and a brother, John Brown of Oshawa, Ontario.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Memorials may be made to the Niagara Falls City Mission or to the Niagara County SPCA, 2100 Lockport Rd., Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Sts., Lewiston.
