Obituary of Lloyd A. Wilson
Please share a memory of Lloyd to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Lloyd Arthur Wilson went to his heavenly home on Thursday, May 19, 2016. After spending many weeks in the hospitals, he was able to be at home in Ransomville for his last remaining days.
Lloyd was born in Niagara Falls, N.Y. on August 26, 1940. He was the son of the late James and Beatrice (McRory) Wilson. He was the brother of the late Merna (Don) Balthaser of Toledo, Ohio and Marjorie (Roy) Broker of Delaware, Ohio.
Lloyd graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1958. He attended Bob Jones University, and received his B.A. degree from Salem College. He earned his Master's degree in Education from the University of Akron in 1970. He taught seventh and eighth grade English for 30 years at Edward Town Junior High (now Middle) School, retiring in 1995 from Niagara Wheatfield School District. Lloyd was dedicated to the Lord, his family, his friends and his students.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Youngstown. Reverend Charles Lamb and Reverend Rex Stewart faithfully pastored to Lloyd throughout his difficult illness.
He leaves his two sons: John (Melissa) Wilson, of Baldwinsville, N.Y. and Paul Wilson, of Ransomville, who loved him dearly, and one grandson, Jacob Person. He was a wonderful husband to his wife, Carolyn (Chapman) Wilson for nearly 48 years. He will be sorely missed.
The family wishes to thank Doctor Sonjoy Singh for his loving care he gave Lloyd through
the years
