Steven Stewart

Steven R. Stewart, age 54 of Ransomville NY, died unexpectedly on Wednesday March 30, 2016 at his residence. Steven was born March 9, 1962 in North Tonawanda, NY, the son of the late Russell and Carol (Blank) Stewart and was a1978 graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School. For the past year he was employed as a tow motor operator by Excel in Lockport. Previously, Steven was an operator at Wendt’s Dairy in Niagara Falls for 30 years. He married Deborah (Cobo) Stewart on August 10, 1997 and they have lived in Ransomville since 2001. Steven was a lifetime member of the NRA and a former member of the Pekin Volunteer Fire Company. He also was an avid hunter. He is survived by his wife, Deborah; a daughter, Kaylee Stewart of Wilson; two brothers, Brian and Kevin Stewart both of Ransomville; and his mother and father in law, Dolly and David Cobo. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Saturday, April 2, from 1- 4 pm. Funeral Services will begin at 4:00 pm in the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Hoffman officiating. Burial in St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Pekin Volunteer Fire Company, 3024 Upper Mountain Rd.
