Obituary of Catherine R. Wysocki

Catherine R. Wysocki, age 79 of Youngstown, went to the arms of her Lord on Thursday March 4, 2010 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, after a brief illness.
Catherine was born March 31, 1930 in Hamilton, Ontario, the daughter of the late William and Annamarie (Hawkins) Sweeney. She was a graduate of Parks Business School in Hamilton, Ontario and on May 3, she married Edward Wysocki and they moved to Youngstown.
Catherine was a communicant of St. Bernard's RC Church in Youngstown where she attended daily Mass. She said the Rosary daily as well. Catherine was devoted to her family and faith, as well as being an avid reader.
Her husband, Edward predeceased her on April 18, 2009. She is survived by her children, Daniel (Mona) Wysocki of Binghamton, NY, Bill Wysocki of Lewiston, Dianne Wysocki of Youngstown, David F. (Megan) Wysocki of Niagara Falls, NY, Edward Wysocki of Ransomville, Rosanna Wysocki of Youngstown, and Katherine Wysocki of Warsaw, NY; two sisters, Anna Marguerite Farella of Niagara Falls, NY and Patricia (Sister Jude Marie) Sweeney of Hamilton, Ontario. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild. Catherine was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Hager and Loretta Sweeney.
Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Friday from 7 - 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 6, at 10:00 am in St. Bernard's RC Church, Hinman and Second Sts., Youngstown, with the Rev. Msgr. Thomas Moran officiating. (Please assemble at Church). Burial will follow in St. Bernard's RC Cemetery, Youngstown. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to the Renovation Fund at Our Lady of Fatima Shrine, PO Box 167, Youngstown, NY 14174.
