Louis A. DiPasquale, age 77 of Wheatfield, died Tuesday February 2, 2016 in Mercy Hospital of Buffalo after a lengthy illness. Louis was born September 9, 1938 in Buffalo, the son of the late Joseph and Concetta (Panzica) DiPasquale and was a graduate of Annunciation High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving in 1957 and completing his Marine Corps Reserve obligation in 1963. Louis was a Firefighter with the Buffalo Fire Department for 25 years, retiring in 1998. He enjoyed boating, fishing and water skiing and was a member of the Niagara River Yacht Club. He is survived by his beloved wife Carolyn (nee Feldmeyer) whom he married on December 26, 1959; his dear children, Linda DiPasquale, Denise (Michael) Devlin, and Michael (Jennifer) DiPasquale; his cherished grandchildren, Claire, Christopher, Sean, Melissa, Lilly, and Emma; a loving brother, Anthony (Maria) DiPasquale; and his nephews, John, Joseph, and David DiPasquale. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Saturday, February 6, from 1 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 8, at 10:00 AM in St. Peter's RC Church, 600 Center St., Lewiston, with the Rev. Msgr. David G. LiPuma officiating. (Please assemble at Church). Inurnment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo, 225 Como Park Blvd, Cheektowaga, NY 14227 or to the American Lung Association of NY State, 155 Washington Ave. Suite 210, Albany, NY 12210.
