Harold "Bucky" Martin, age 79, formerly of Ransomville, died Saturday January 30, 2016 under Hospice Care at his residence in Deland, FL where he has resided the past 15 years.
Bucky was born November 6, 1936 in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of the late John A. and Viola (Lonsdale) Martin. He was a former semi-pro baseball player and loved playing the game. Bucky was employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Conrail Rail Road for 30 years, retiring in1996.
He is survived by his four children, Chuck Martin, Sherri Kulak, Daryle (Wendy) and Jason Martin; his former wife, Elaine (Miller) Martin; his two brothers, Donny (Connie) and Richie (Ann) Martin; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Elizabeth Myers and Jeanette Causer, and a brother, Norm Martin.
Private graveside services will be held in North Ridge Cemetery at the convenience of the family. There will be no visitation.
