Rosalie (Gibbons) Dreier, 65, of Lewiston, NY, one week ago, was married on December 19, 2015, to Richard Dreier, passed away on Christmas Day in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital after a short illness. Born in Salzburg, Austria on March 28, 1950 to the late Robert and Berta (Kaldy) Gibbons, and was a graduate of Grand Island High School. Rosalie was employed as a secretary at the Water Pollution Control Center for the Town of Lewiston for 25 years, retiring on August 30, 2015. She was a Past President of the Lewiston Volunteer Co. #1 Ladies Auxiliary, and from 1980-1983 was the Fire Dispatcher for Lewiston Fire Co. #1. Rosalie was a past chairman of the Niagara County Board of Elections. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, shopping, Christmas holidays and, mostly spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her husband, Richard, she is survived by two daughters, Mandie (Charles) Kilmer of Lewiston, Sabriana (John) Davis of West Seneca; a step-son, Richard (Susan) Dreier; five grandchildren, Taylor, Kaitlynn, Anthony, Cassady and Jillian; two step-grandchildren, Jackson and Georgette; a brother, Thomas Gibbons; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Jason Kilmer; a twin sister, Sylvia Taylor; and sister, Roberta Cassady. Friends may call at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Sts., Lewiston, on Tuesday from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 30, at 10 am from St. Peter's RC Church, 600 Center St., Lewiston with Msgr. David LiPuma officiating. Please assemble at church. Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Lewiston Fire Co. #1 Ambulance Fund or the American Cancer Society.
