Obituary of Paul R. Norwich

Paul R. Norwich, age 67 of Youngstown NY, passed away unexpectedly on Friday December 11, 2015 in Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo.
He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on June 9, 1948, the son of the late Raymond and Jean Norwich. Paul was a graduate of Bishop Duffy High School. Upon retiring from Delphi Harrison in Lockport, Paul was a member of the Youngstown Volunteer Fire Company as well as working as a Real Estate Agent for Power City Realty. He was also a woodworking enthusiast who won numerous awards for his outstanding work.
He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis; his children, Christine (Norwich) Wells, Raymond (Sherry) Norwich, David Argy, and Virginia (Kevin) Winkworth; two brothers, Leonard (Franceska) Norwich and David (Muriel) Norwich; a sister, Maryann Murphy, 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; his dear aunts, Irene Connors and Mary Orszulak; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Stephen Norwich.
A gathering of friends and family to celebrate Paul’s life will be held at a time and date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. John’s Episcopal Church, 110 Chestnut St. Youngstown, NY 14174 or a charity of your choice are welcome. Arrangements are entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Sts., Lewiston, NY.
