Obituary of Ronald J. Harrison

Ronald J. Harrison, age 67 of Grand Island, died Tuesday December 1, 2015 in Kenmore Mercy Hospital after a brief illness.
Ronald was born November 4, 1948 in Libertyville, IL, the son of the late George William and Rose (Ackermann) Harrison. He married Helen K. Gallion on June 23, 1973 and they had lived in Youngstown for 10 years before moving to Grand Island a year ago. Ronald was a Machinist, employed by Diversified Manufacturing in Lockport, for 17 years, retiring in 1994. He loved spending time with his family and was very proud of his daughters and grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife, Helen, two daughters, Brandie Lynn Harrison of Niagara Falls, NY and Patty R. (John) Fitzsimmons of Clemmons, NC; his grandchildren, Brady and Mia; and a half brother, Lee (Nancy) Dielonka of Gray's Lake, IL.
A Memorial Service will be held at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Friday, December 4, at 6:00 pm. There will be no prior visitation. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute, PO Box 631, Buffalo, NY 14240-9856
