Obituary of Norma F. Pharis

Norma F. Pharis, age 90 , a former 34 year resident of Lewiston, died Thursday November 26, 2015 in the Niagara Rehabilitation and Health Center in Niagara Falls, NY after a lengthy illness.
Norma was born August 27, 1925 in Niagara Falls, Ontario, the daughter of the late Harry and Marie (Rose) Storey and was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. On July 22, 1944 she married Roland F. Pharis.
Norma was a Bookkeeper, employed by the N.FT.A, then Orr, Brydges, & Orr Law Firm in Niagara Falls, NY, and retired from National Time Share in Niagara Falls, NY.
She was a member of the Unity Church of Buffalo for over 50 Years. She was also a member of the Youngstown V.F.W. Lake Ontario Post # 313 Ladies Auxiliary.
Her husband, Roland, predeceased her in 1999. She is survived by three sons, Ronald (Florence) and Kirk (Ellie) Pharis both of Boise, ID, and Richard Pharis of Niagara Falls, NY; her grandchildren, Mark and Brett Pharis, and her great grandchildren, Taylor and Roland Pharis as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, James Storey.
A Memorial Service will be held at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Sue Smith officiating. Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094
or to the American Cancer Society, 101 John James Audubon Pkwy., Amherst, NY 14228.
