My sincere condolences to all of you. I was just copying the URL for Hardison's and saw your Mom's obituary. Dad passed yesterday at 86 years old, after a wrongful death.
I'd been caring for him at home; just like I did my husband, then Mom. He had a wonderful life and was a very talented man and terrific Dad.
Your Mom was awesome and such fun; such a vibrant person. I used to enjoy visiting with both your parents, when I'd vacation with Gram in Florida. Your Mom really knew how to live.
Many blessings,
Diane <3

My dear little lady it still seems unreal to me you are gone. However you are not truely gone and never will be you have touched my life in such a way you will always be with me. As I eat an ice cream cone I will always hear a voice in my mind saying "do you know what that tastes like? As I smile I will hear the answer, It tastes like I'll have another." I will never forget you being so proud as I was going to school and would bring my studies over do do while I was with you. I ended up top in my class thank you for encouraging me in the days I was struggling. I will never forget you very strong dislike of motorcycles as they would zoom by while we were enjoying to quite out on the porch. As the holidays approach this will be hard as we will now have an empty seat at the table. You were more than just someone I cared for, you are family. You loved to sit and listen to my endless cat stories and even asked me about them when I didn't bring it up. I was so glad you were able to share the milestones I hit in my life, such as getting my cna license, birthdays, my wedding and the purchase of my home which you so lovingly called the little cottage. I'm not sure who was more proud you or me when I would take you to see the progress we made fixing it up. I'm not done fixing it yet but I'm sure your presence will be with us when we are all done and moved in. On many nights when dinner was over we would pass the time watching wheel of fortune and jeopardy trying to call out the answers before they were guessed I was getting good at wheel of fortune but jeopardy was tough, we both would agree it was useless knowledge and then giggle. And let's not forget the occasion when I have no idea what we were laughing at but your daughter Joan would be upstairs listening to us, and we would make her smile too. As I would help you get ready for bed you often would stop and say thank you for a good supper and a nice evening. Your smile would light up my world and I am truly blessed to have been apart of yours. Thank you for the countless memories as I could go on and an sharing them, you will never be forgotten my dear little lady. Till we meet again...
