Obituary of Norma G. Kullmann

Norma G. Kullmann, age 87 of Lewiston NY, died Friday November 6, 2015 in the Niagara Hospice House in Lockport. Norma was born August 6, 1928 in Albany, NY, the daughter of the late Charles and Lillian (Harris) Gardner. She received her Bachelor of Music Degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music (Case Western Reserve) in Cleveland, OH. Norma married Ralph Kullmann in August of 1949 and they have resided in Lewiston since 1965. She was employed by Lewiston Porter Central School as a Teacher's Aide for 15 years. Norma was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Niagara Falls since 1955, where she had served as an Elder, Deacon, President of the Rainbow Club and sang in the Church Choir. She was a soloist at Temple Beth El and the 1st Church of Christian Science in Niagara Falls as well as the Euclid Ave. Methodist Church and Euclid Ave. Temple in Cleveland, OH. Norma was also a member of P.E.O., a past President and member of the Lewiston Garden Club, and volunteered for many years at Art Park. She is survived by her husband, Ralph; her children, Janice (Conley) Thompson of Sarr Oaks Ranch, TX, Bruce (Connie) Kullmann of Albuquerque, NM, Gary (Gail) Kullmann of Chesterfield, MO, and Nancy (James) Krause of Jacksonville, FL. Five grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Thursday, November 12, from 4 - 7 pm. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 14, at 11:00 AM in the First Presbyterian Church of Niagara Falls, 311 First St., Niagara Falls, NY, with the Rev. Laura Norris-Busch officiating. Burial will be private in the Oakland Rural Cemetery, Youngstown. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Niagara Falls, or to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094.
