Pete and Candi Wenke Wienckowski posted a condolence

Pete and I send our condolences to all of Betty's family. I have known Betty since I was born, or better yet, she has known me since I was born. Both Betty, and Paul, were very gracious and caring people. My parents, Ruth and Royal Wenke were long-time friends of Betty and Paul. As my sister, Marti Keenan wrote, Dr. Schmoyer married our parents back at Zion Lutheran Church, so the relationship between the Schmoyers and the Wenkes goes back many years. I know that our parents are all laughing and probably playing golf in the big golf course in heaven.
May your families all find consolation in the fine memories of Betty made with each one of you over the years.
Peace and hope,
Candi Wenke Wienckowski

Schmoyer family
We were so sorry to hear of Betty's passing. You might remember my parents, Ruth & Roy Wenke. They are both gone now, but I can see them all reunited. I believe that they were friends for 40+ years, both at Messiah & in the Falls. In fact Dr. Schmoyer married my parents at Zion Luthern Church, so I'm sure they were friends longer then I thought. We will keep you all in my prayers.
Marti & John Keenan.

Without a doubt, one of the nicest the good Lord has created. Betty was one fine lady who always cared about others and I can say I am honored to have known her and Paul over several years. They are above smiling down on family and friends...I AM SURE!

Mr. and Mrs. Schmoyer were beloved, lifelong friends of my parents, Herman and Phyllis Brezing, who are also now gone from this world and sorely missed. My siblings and I always had great respect and affection for the Schmoyers. Betty was more like "Aunt" Betty to my siblings and me than just a friend of our parents. She was so gracious, smart and funny! And I remember, as a kid, being in awe of how pretty she was, and very classy, to use an old-fashioned term. I found her energy, creativity and positive attitude inspiring, even when I was very young. My heartfelt condolences to her family.
