Janet Westoven

Janet M. Westoven, age 66 of North Tonawanda, died Wednesday October 21, 2015 in the De Graff Memorial Hospital in North Tonawanda. Janet was born February 5, 1949 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Chester P. and Helen (Tweed) Serba and was a graduate of North Tonawanda High School. She worked in the hospitality industry for various hotels in the area. Janet enjoyed arts and crafts, spending time with her grandchildren and her pet dog, "Pokie". Janet was predeceased by her husband, William Westoven. She is survived by her children, Jim and Michael Proefrock, William, Joshua, and Jeremy Westoven; her grandchildren, Kylee, Destiny, Evan, and Andrew; a brother, Frank Serba and two sisters, Carol Welch and Sue Westoven. She was predeceased by a daughter, Michelle Proefrock and a sister, Paula Heim. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Sunday from 2 - 5 pm. Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 26, at 11:00 am in the Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 5871 Military Rd., Lewiston.
