Obituary of Helen J. Reagan

Helen Jane (Bradley) Reagan, age 87, formerly of Wilson and Youngstown entered into rest quietly on Friday January 22, 2010 in the Odd Fellow & Rebekah Health Care Facility in Lockport.
Helen was born October 23, 1922 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Roy and Doris E. (Weaver) Bradley. She was a 1939 graduate of Wilson Central High School where she played basketball and was active in the school theater. Helen was a longtime waitress at the Niagara Frontier Country Club and Ye Old Fort Inn, both in Youngstown, and Carmelo's Coat of Arms in Lewiston.
She was a sports enthusiast and a great fan of Jim Kelly and Thurman Thomas of the Buffalo Bills. She also enjoyed watching her sons and grandchildren participate in sports to go along with her spirited social life in Youngstown. Helen was a former member of St. Bernard's RC Church in Youngstown and was also an avid reader.
Helen was predeceased by her husband Daniel Reagan, a WW II veteran and POW, in 1977. She is the dear mother of Daniel (Barbara) Reagan, Jr. of Fort Worth, TX, Kathleen Reagan of Fayetteville, NC, Terrance (Sheila) Reagan of Wilson, Kevin (Sandy) Reagan of West Palm Beach, FL, Peter (Theresa) Reagan of Wilson, Jeffery (Debbi) Reagan of Lacey, WA, and Laurie Reagan of Buffalo; loving grandmother of Jamison, April, Stephanie, Julie, and Jennifer and great granddaughter, Quinn. Also survived by sister in law, Betty (Norm) Daniels and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Helen was also predeceased by a brother, Roland "Spike" Bradley and a sister, Dorothy Zeiner.
Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Tuesday from 3 - 8 PM. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 27, at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the North Ridge Cemetery, Church Rd., Town of Cambria.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Odd Fellow & Rebekah Health Care Facility, 104 Old Niagara Rd., Lockport, NY 14094.
