I had the pleasure of working with Marlene many years ago when I started my career as a legal secretary. The office where I first met her had tile floors. High heels were quite the thing in those days and you could always hear her walk! We tagged her with the nickname "boom boom" because if that. She had a sharp wit and when she found out that my middle name was Lu, she tagged me with "lulu" and so our friendship went.
Marlene was a smart, funny, and caring person. She never met an animal that she did not fall instantly in love with. We shared lunches, legal secretaries' association meetings and dinners, double dates and many laughs. She is a memory that makes me smile. RIP BoomBoom xoxo
