Obituary of Edward Furry

Edward "Frank" Furry, at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY on January 5, 2010 in his 81st year. A resident of Youngstown, NY, Frank was a devoted member of St. John's Episcopal Church Parish Family; enjoyed quality time with family and friends on his sailboat in earlier years; was a passionate gardener and birdwatcher; and cherished playing his bagpipes and listening to jazz and big band music. Loving husband of Marilyn (Johnston) Furry. Dear father of Sandra and husband Geoff Moon of St. John, New Brunswick, Canada, Anne and husband David Ross of Tampa, FL. Preceded in death by his beloved grandchildren, Thomas, and Meredith Moon. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 11:30 am in St. John's Episcopal Church, Main & Chestnut Sts., Youngstown, NY, with the Rev. Ellen Brauza officiating. There will be no prior visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church, the American Cancer Society, 101 John James Audubon Pkwy., Amherst, NY 14228 or to a Charity of one's choice.
