Jean Bjorgan, age 73 of Lewiston, died Wednesday May 13, 2015 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, after a brief illness.
Jean was born in Lititz, PA, the daughter of the late James and the late Lydia (Hess) Durr. She married Kenneth Bjorgan in Brickerville, PA on February 14, 1969 and they have resided in Lewiston the past 35 years. Jean was a homemaker and also did baby sitting in her home for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, bird watching., and nature. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Bjorgan; a daughter, Sharon Kulp and a son, Dale Miller both of Lewiston; a sister, Shirley Levering of Hernond, PA and a brother, Larry (Nancy) Durr of Skunk, PA.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Peace NCR, 5285 Lewiston Rd., Lewiston, NY 14092. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston.
