I feel tremendous sadness after reading of Julia's passing. She was and still is one of the most beautiful elderly woman I have every known. She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed herself immensely. Please accept my deepest sympathy for all of you. May the love and kindness of family and friends help you through this sad time.

Ma Nitch was a strong woman who voiced her views on world affairs and the state of man with gusto and panache. Her one-liners of wit and wisdom will echo in our hearts for the rest of our lives. She was not prone to snuggly, warm and fuzzy platitudes but once, when I desperately needed it, she gave me a hands-clasped-round-the-back bear-hug so strong that she squeezed the grief and hurt right out of me. I will never forget her and the lessons she showed us all by living a life without regrets and with a concern for humanity that humbled all who met her. Thank you, Ma Nitch. I miss you. Love, Paul
