Robin,
I tried to call your mom today . But the number is no longer working mine is 716 791 4501 or 716 791 3702 .< going between 2 homes while moving :)
But Not only did your dear dad & I share a birthday . If the address in the phone book is correct . Your parents lived in my old childhood home on Northfield... But please feel free to call anytime I really would enjoy meeting your mom & family . I shall remember your dad forever
God bless you all

Hi Debbi,
We so appreciate hearing your story about Dad. Thank you for posting. My mother remembers him coming home and telling the same story. She asked, "Well, did you get her name?"
My mom just regrets that she did not meet you!
Thank you again for sharing.

Dear Oompa,
I'm sad to see you go and that we hadn't seen each other for a few years. Life can get pretty busy, especially when you're either deploying or training to deploy every year. I'm thankful that the times we shared were usually filled with either laughter, deep, insightful discussion, or both.
I'm especially thankful for the support you showed me since my entry into the military. Your packages, notes, and words of encouragement during my one deployment to Iraq and two deployments to Afghanistan would move me to the point of tears. I remember how touched you were when I sent you the American Flag that I had flown over FOB Salerno, Afghanistan in August of 2013. You were absolutely a true American. I still remember your first-hand accounts of December 7, 1941 at Pearl Harbor and the way that you walked through the cemetery at Normandy when you and Ooma visited us in Belgium in 2000.
Thank you for everything.
Love,
Jude

Robbie - I am so sorry. You and your family have been on my mind ever since Robin let me know. I wanted so badly to come, but I just don't know how to make it happen. Yet, I know you are surrounded by people who love you. I came to adore you and Renton and your family those few days spent at the cottage. It remains one of the best several days I have spent anywhere, and it was because of the family. Your pictures still make me smile. Both of you were so gracious and welcoming and warm. And a delight! And I STILL haven't found a solution to the cravings I now have for pepperoni sticks :). May God envelope you in the coming weeks and bless and guide beyond your expectations. In love, Tina.
