Obituary of Steven A. Stevens

Steven A. Stevens, age 59 of Lewiston, died unexpectedly on Monday March 10, 2014 at his residence. Steve was born July 10, 1954 in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of Herman W. Stevens of Olcott and the late Jacqueline (Wilcox) Taylor. He was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and had an Associate's Degree from Niagara County Community College. Steve owned and operated Sasdania Kennel in Lewiston where he bred Great Danes. He was a member of the Great Danes Club of America, the Great Danes Club of Western New York, the Niagara Falls Kennel Club, and Great Danes Franchier of Canada. In addition to his father he is survived by a daughter, Lynette Stevens (John Brandon) of Wilmington, DE; his grandchildren, Jennifer and John Brandon; his great grandchildren, Carter and Kalli Brandon; three brothers, Douglas (Joanne) Stevens of Watertown, NY, Jesse (Rebecca) Holka of The Villages, FL, and Michael Stevens of Niagara Falls, NY; three sisters, Gloria DePadre, Tina (Mike) Farrell, and Dianna (Dennis) Carey all of Niagara Falls, NY; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his step father, Andrew Holka. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Saturday, March 15, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. A celebration of life will begin at 4:00 pm in the funeral home.
